From the street to the stage, like a warrior, Nach dances her love of life, her determination, with ferocious energy. Day after day, unflinchingly, daringly, she invents herself and discovers herself. She seeks her ritual. She calls that ritual Cellule, her first solo, where dance crystallises violence, excess, desire and fear against a background of black and white photos referencing the French Krump community. But where masculinity reigns supreme, a masculinity that is desired, Nach embraces every fibre or her womanhood in a fluid, harmonious dance shaped by the music. From her myriad facial expressions to the words she utters when the lights go down, this is her cry for freedom.
