Radhouane El Meddeb spotted the young performers of this piece in the main hall of le Centquatre, an art center in a popular Parisian neighborhood. The choreographer observed these dancers, breakers, voguers, hip-hop dancers, the pulsion for life in their swift movements, their sharp desires. He tried to understand what was at stake on this asphalt, a different universe from his poetic world, in this improvised circle where they throw their frail, sometimes lost bodies, looking for one another. He decided to shape his observations into an indomitable show with nine of them, basing his thoughts on the vitality that transfigured his vision of dance.
