The place of women, artists and, more generally the notion of difference in Tunisian society have brought together the choreographer Radhouane El Meddeb, the singer Malek Sebaï and the musician Selim Arjoun. How can they bring to life the unconventional figure of Habiba Msika, a Tunisian Jewish artist who was burned alive by her lover in 1930, if not by exploring her story? By dancing a love song as if it were her last chance to avoid being forgotten forever, by creating a solo that explores the intimate and collective spheres, and by showing how her life resonates with contemporary society… Who was Habiba Msika? Who are we? Will we be devoured by fire once again?
