The artistic research carried out by the choreographer is a way of reflecting upon the politics and representations of queer desire, in particular via gesture, touch, sensuality and relationality in exhibitions and performances. Unending love, or love dies, on repeat like it’s endless deals with “loss, celebration and hybrid temporalities, including pleasure and mourning”. Feelings and perceptions are explored via interwoven trajectories and polyphonic soundscapes. A politically committed artist, Alex Baczyński-Jenkins co-founded Kem, a queer feminist collective based in Warsaw focusing on choreography, performance, sound and social practices.
